Institute of Management Development and Research - IMDR 2009
IMDR conducts 3 full-time programs in Management, International Trade and Human Resources. Apart from this, the Institute conducts part-time programs for working professionals as well as training programs for corporates. IMDR has entered into a tie-up with ESSCA, one of France's leading business schools. Under this exchange program, students have the opportunity to participate in one semester at ESSCAs campuses in France and Budapest. IMDR has a unique selection process in which candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in 'Group Work' and a Behavioural Event Interview' (B.E.I). The PGDM program: The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a two-year full time program. Its unique design is based on the Instructional Systems Design Methodology (ISDM), which aims at integrating various disciplines in Management. Apart from class room sessions, students have the opportunity to participate in seminars, field trips and case study sessions, which acquaint them with the practical realities of the workplace. Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline (10+2+3) recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE as eligible for post graduate studies, with minimum 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST candidates. Final year graduation students with at least 50% marks at the immediately preceding examination can also apply. To be eligible for admission to IMDR, all candidates have to take the Common Admission Test (CAT), which will be held on 16th November 2008.

Candidates must register with IMDR by submitting the IMDR application form along with a D.D for Rs.1,000/- in favour of 'Director, IMDR'. The last date for submitting the form is 30th November 2008. Forms can be collected directly from the IMDR office or can be downloaded from our website. Forms can also be submitted online at our website www.imdr.edu/pgdm/appform.htm Final selection will be based on the CAT score as will as performance in the Group Work and Interview. We use CAT only for the purpose of short-listing candidates. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or the conduct of the program. Important Dates
