Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) is one of the premier law
universities in India. Hidayatullah National Law University is in fact
ranked as 6th among the top 10 National Law Schools in the country.
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) has been striving hard
since its foundation to build a platform for candidates who wish to
develop a career for themselves in the law sector.
Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU) was founded in the
year 2003. The university was set up in the beautiful city of Raipur
which is the capital of Chhattisghar. It offers a total of 80 seats for
its candidates. Out of the 80 seats, 40 seats are reserved for the
candidates of Chhattisgarh.
HNLU Admissions
For admission to the 5 year integrated B.A. LL.B. programs
offered by the Hidayatullah National Law University, candidates need to
appear in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). The CLAT exam will be
held on the second week of May 2009. Candidates must be less than 20
years of age and must have cleared 10+2 level education with 50%
aggregate. Age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates for up to 2 years.
Application Procedure
Candidates can write a request letter to the Convener CLAT,
National Law School of India University, Bangalore -560 242, asking for
the application form and the prospectus. Candidates also have to send a
demand draft for Rs. 2,000 drawn in favor of the Convener, CLAT. The
draft will be payable at Bangalore. Candidates can also download it
directly from the website www.clat.ac.in.
