 Eligibility:

The minimum qualification for admission to MBA / MMA Programs is a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) in Arts / Science / Commerce / Engineering / Technology / Medical / Dental / Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized Universities.

The candidates who will appear in final examination (Graduation) to be held by June 2009 & results published by September 2009 may also apply.

 Application Form

The application form may be downloaded from the website www.wbut.ac.in. Completed application forms are to be submitted to the University office. Application form may also be submitted online. Examination fees are Rs. 800 for general category and Rs. 400 for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates (without late fine) while the corresponding fees are Rs 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively (with late fine).

The examination fees are to be deposited in any branch of Indian Bank (anywhere in India) at the following account : Account Name - WBUT-JEMAT; Account No. 803092637. Incomplete or improperly filled forms will be cancelled.

The pay-in slip for depositing may also be downloaded from the website. In the pay-in slips candidates must give their contact phone numbers, the same as given in the application forms. Two copies of passport size photograph duly signed and mentioning form number on the back must be submitted.

Candidates applying online should send the pay-in slip counterfoil and photographs to the University Office.

Test Structure

The JEMAT written test will be of objective type consisting of three sections of 2 hours duration ( 11 a.m. to 1 p.m ) as detailed below:

Administration:

The whole process of Written Examination, Group Discussion & Personnel Interview will be conducted by the WBUT.

Evaulation:

The weightage of different components of the Test is as follows:

2.Group Discussion (GD)25 marks (10%)
3.Personal Interview (PI)25 marks (10%)
