National Law University Jodhpur focuses in blending legal knowledge with other subjects like economics, science management and finance. Therefore NLU offers legal degrees with multiple combinations. At National Law University Jodhpur one can also pursue postgraduate courses. While admission to the 5 year integrated undergraduate courses would be done through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), admission to the postgraduate courses of the National Law University, Jodhpur would be done through the National Entrance Test (NET). The National Entrance Test 2009 will tentatively be held towards the end of May. The National Law University offers the following postgraduate degree programs-
Eligibility for the National Entrance Test, NET 2009 For admission to the postgraduate programmes of the University, candidates must be graduate with at least 50% marks in aggregate in any discipline. But for the L.L.M. program, candidates should be law graduates. However those who are appearing in the qualifying examination can also take the national entrance test. They would be considered for admission subject to fulfillment of the eligibility criteria. Pattern of PG National Entrance Test 2009: The PG National Entrance Test would comprise of questions that would measure the linguistic ability, analytical skills and the student’s depth of knowledge in the subject. Application Procedure: One can download the PG NET application form from http://www.nlujodhpur.ac.in/pgform08.pdf and send the duly filled application form along with a demand draft of Rs. 2000/- or US$ 150 (One Hundred and Fifty Dollars) in case of NRI and Foreign applicants drawn in Favor of Registrar, National Law University, Jodhpur payable at Jodhpur and other enclosures to Registrar, National Law University, NH-65, Nagaur Road, Jodhpur within April 2009 third week. The envelope containing the application form should be super scribed as FOR ADMISSION 2009. Centres of NET 2009 The NET 2009 for admissions to postgraduate courses will be held at Delhi, Jaipur and Jodhpur. Question pattern of NET 2008 The under graduate entrance question papers of the NET 2008 will test the linguistic ability, analytical skill, level of quantum f information, mathematical aptitude, legal reasoning and aptitude for learning law of the candidates. The postgraduate entrance question papers would test the linguistic ability, analytical skill and the student’s depth of knowledge in the subject.
