AIET 2009   

ALL INDIA Entrance Test AIET 2009 is conducted for selection of candidates for admission to various health science courses such as MBBS , BDS, BAMS, BPT conducted in constituent colleges of University Situated in its campus at Nerul Navi Mumbai 400706.

Important Details of AIET 2009
The fee for the Entrance Test is Rs. 2,000/-. However, cost of the Entrance Test fee is Rs. 2500/- if Form is downloaded from the website. The fee is payable by demand draft drawn in favour of “Padmashree Dr.D. Y.Patil University”, on a Nationalized /Scheduled  bank, payable at Navi Mumbai / Mumbai. The particulars of the draft must be filled in the body of the form as well as in both parts of the separate sheet attached along with the form. The candidates should write their full name, address and application number on the reverse side of the demand draft.

The last date for receipt of completed application forms at the following address is upto 5.00 pm on 30th April 2009 and up to 5.00  pm on 6th May 2009 with late fee of Rs. 500/-.

It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his application form along with demand draft for fee and supporting documents reaches the of. ce of the Coordinator of Admission Committee within the speci. ed time and date. The applications received after the due date or not accompanied by the demand draft covering entrance fee shall be rejected and such candidates shall not be allowed to appear for the entrance test. The Admission Committee: AIET 2009 will not be responsible for non-receipt of the applications within the specified time and date due to postal or courier service delays.

Eligibility For: B.Tech (AIET-B.TECH 2009) : Candidates must have passed H.S.C Science or equivalent examination from a recognized Board, securing minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of the PCB/PCMB group. English as a subject is compulsory. Candidates with Mathematics will be eligible for B. Tech Bioinformatics/B.Tech Biomedical Engineering courses.

Eligibility For M.Tech (AIET–M.TECH 2009) : Candidate should be a graduate with minimum 50% marks in  B.E / B.Tech Biotechnology / Bioinformatics / Chemical Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Biomedical Engineering / Bioprocess Technology / B.Pharm / M.B.B.S. / B.D.S. or M. Sc. and equivalent.

Eligibility For M.Sc (AIET– M.TECH 2009) : Candidate should be a graduate with minimum 50% marks in Zoology/Botany/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology and equivalent.
Last date for receipt of completed Application Form:  Monday, 11th May 2009, and with late fee of Rs.500/- by Thursday, 14th May, 2009 at the above address.
